Medieval People
The king was of the highest nobility and technically owned all the land he gave to the nobles to live and work on he was in charge of everyone except for the Pope which united and controlled all of Europe the king was also very very rich because of the land he owned.
The lords received fiefs from the king he had absolute control over it and made his own laws and rules that the people had to follow but had to pay taxes to the king and also provide him with soldiers for protecting all of Europe against other neighboring and invading lands.
A lady was the lords wife and her jobs were to take care of the manor, cook, clean, and produce offspring but she was still considered property by law but some held important official roles as a queen or princess.
A Knight was a solider who in return for protecting the land got small plots of land that they lived on withe there families. They had to take an oath saying that they served god and the people. Some were very close to the lord and often attended feasts.
The noble children got most of there schooling from monks or nuns. At age seven boys went to go train as knights while girls learned how to be good wives and ho to take care of the manor.
The peasants were kind of free but still worked for the lord. They some times owned shops and were crafts men. They were generally poor.
Serfs were farmers and were tied to the land. most of the food they grew went to the lord they only got a small portion of it. They lived in little huts and they were dirty.
